How your information is handled

Sighting submissions
When you submit a sighting, UFOInform stores the name or nickname, email address, report details, and any media you choose to upload. Submissions are reviewed before publication. Email addresses and administrative notes are not displayed publicly. If you select anonymous publication, your submitted name is not shown with an approved report.
Archive workspace
Saved records, notes, review status, and comparison lists in the PURSUE workspace are stored in your browser's local storage. They are not sent to UFOInform and are visible only in that browser profile unless you export them yourself.
Server logs and security
The hosting provider may retain routine request logs such as IP address, browser information, requested page, and timestamp for reliability and abuse prevention. Security rate limits use a one-way hash of the request source and expire automatically.
Government records and external links
The PURSUE archive mirrors public government records and links to official sources. Following an external link subjects you to that site's privacy practices.
Questions or removal requests
For questions, corrections, or a request concerning a submitted sighting, contact Glupe Media Group LLC through its public website and identify the report involved. Reasonable identity verification may be required before private submission data is discussed or removed.
